Description:
This booklet provides an order for the marriage of Christians from different churches. It has been developed by the Joint Liturgical Group of Great Britain whose members are drawn from a wide range of churches, and it has been proposed to provide clergy and congregations with a form of service that will allow all parties to participate.
The rite is designed to meet the current legal requirements for marriage while allowing flexibility for the rite to be adapted to meet individual needs and preferences. An additional choice of blessing prayers and intercessions is provided along with helpful guidelines and recommendations for the pastoral care of the inter-church families. |
